Lacson says “we didn’t see the worst” after Duke’s “COVID-19 is a blessing in disguise”

MANILA, Philippines – Health Secretary Francisco Duque III may claim that the coronavirus pandemic is a “covert blessing,” but for Senator Panfilo Lacson, the public has not yet seen the worst disorders through the fitness crisis.

“However, as we hear the Secretary of Health say that the pandemic is a ‘blessing in disguise,’ we know for sure that we have noticed the worst for our suffering compatriots, in terms of health and economic well-being,” the senator added.

“This (COVID-19 pandemic) can also be a kind of fortuitous and disguised blessing.Kasi parang na accelerated (accelerated) in its universal fitness formula due to COVID-19.It’s a catalyst,” Duke said Friday at Webinar No.18 from the University of the Philippines entitled “Ensuring the Safety of Our Health Workers: The Experience of the General Hospital of the Philippines”.
