Twenty-three new cases, a more coronavirus-related death, and 8 showing COVID-19 cures were shown Thursday afternoon through the La Salle County Health Department.
The death of COVID-19 a woman in her 90s. This is the 38th coronavirus-related death in La Salle County since the pandemic began in mid-March.
The 23 new instances include: 4 boys and a woguy in adolescence, 4 men and two in their twenties, two in their thirties, one boy and a woguy in quarantine, two men in the fifties, one boy and a woguy in their 60s, two in their 70s and two in their 80s. The existing number of instances displayed in the county is now 1,033.
The 8 recoveries raise the county’s overall recovery to 525, there are 470 known and active instances in La Salle County.
Residents of La Salle County 20,164 tests, of which 5.12% tested positive.

Ottawa recorded a further thirteen cases shown, bringing its cumulative total to 178 since the start of the pandemic.
Streator ZIP, also in Livingston County, recorded five new cases, bringing the total to 175.
Seneca had another case, which raised it to 16 in total.
Leland had another case, bringing his general to 11.
Mendota had one more case, which raised her general to 220.
Peru had another case, so its total was 59.
Utica had one more case, which raised his total to 14.
The Hall had one more case, making its total of 91.
Grand Ridge had another case, which raised his total to 16.
Marseille remained at the age of 79.
Sheridan stayed in 40.
Oglesby stayed at 36.
Somonauk, in DeKalb County, was 29.
Earlville stayed in 19.
Wenona, which is basically in Marshall County, remained at 10.
Lostant remained in eight cases.
