Sixteen new instances of COVID-19 have been shown in La Salle County, as shared Tuesday through the La Salle County Health Department.
Thirty-one other people who in the past had tested positive for COVID-19 were released from isolation, reducing the number of active cases across the county to 514.
There have been 1,276 cases of viruses since the onset of the pandemic; of these cases, another 714 people were released from isolation and 48 died as a result of COVID-19-like headaches.
Two teenagers, two men in the twenties, 3 women in their twenties, two men in their thirties, two men in the fifties, a boy in the sixties, a boy in the seventy and a woguy in the seventy.tested positive for COVID-19.
During its investigation, the Department of Health found that a case reported to a La Salle County resident lived outside the county and had been transferred to another county.

Streator, also in Livingston County, has recorded 8 new cases shown, bringing the total to 261 since the start of the pandemic.
Ottawa has recorded 3 new cases, bringing the total to 225.
Marseille recorded two new cases, bringing its total to 89.
Seneca had two new cases, which raised his total to 22.
Mendota had one more case, which raises his total to 238.
• Sheridan had one more case, which raised his general to 45.
Leland had another case, which raised his general to 16.
The Chamber remains in the cases.
Peru remains in the cases.
Oglesby stays in forty-five cases.
Somonauk, which is located in DeKalb County, remains in 30 cases.
Utica in 23 cases.
Earlville in 22 cases.
Grand Ridge in 17 cases.
Wenona, which is basically located in Marshall County, remains in 14 cases.
Tonica in 10 cases.
The loser in 8 cases.
