La Salle County coronavirus update: Mendota, Ottawa, Peru and La Salle see five or more new cases

Six more recoveries, 36 new instances shown and one more coronavirus-related death were reported Friday afternoon through the La Salle County Health Department [LCHD].

Death -? A 70-year-old woman is the 39th death attributed to COVID-19 in La Salle County since the pandemic began in mid-March.

Friday’s new instances included a woman in their 90s, an 80-year-old boy, a 70-year-old boy, a 60-, 3-, and a 50-, 3-year-old boy, two, and three men in his Thirty, Seven, and two men in his twenties. Fix 3 teenage daughters and a teenage girl.

In Thursday’s report, there were 23 new cases, a death more related to coronavirus [a in their 90s] and 8 showed COVID-19 cures, raising the county’s general recoveries to 531.

A total of 1,069 citizens of La Salle County tested positive. There are 499 active instances in La Salle County.

La Salle County residents 20,755 tests, of which 5.15% tested positive.

Ottawa recorded five cases, bringing the total to 183.

Peru recorded five more cases, bringing the total to 64.

The Hall had five more cases, bringing its total to 96.

Streator’s ZIP, also partly in Livingston County, recorded 4 new cases, bringing the total to 179.

Oglesby had three more cases, which raised his total to 39.

Utica had another case, which raised her total to 15.

Grand Ridge had another case, which raised its total to 17.

Marseille had one more case, making its total of 80.

Somonauk, which is also located in DeKalb County, had another case, which raised its total to 30.

Tonica has joined the communities of La Salle County with more than instances, now has six cases shown of COVID-19.

Sheridan stayed in 40.

Earlville stayed in 19.

Wenona, which is basically in Marshall County, remained at 10.

Lostant remained in eight cases.

Seneca stayed at 16.

Leland stayed at 11.
