According to the La Salle County Department of Health, two dozen new cases of the new coronavirus were reported Saturday in La Salle County, while 21 former patients recovered and were released from isolation.
An earlier case attributed to La Salle County reassigned to another county, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in La Salle County to 935 and the county showed recovery to 445.
The new instances reported on Saturday include: two children and two teenagers; two men and two in the twenties; two men and two in their thirties; two 40-year-old men; two men and two 50 years old; two in their 60s; 3 in his 60s; and a boy in his 80s.
18,955 COVID-19 tests were conducted through Los Angeles County residents Salle, and 4.93% of those tested positive.

Lostant has joined county zip codes with more than five reported cases, with a total of six since the start of the pandemic.
Streator recorded new cases, bringing his total to 153.
Ottawa recorded new cases, bringing the total to 157.
Marseille has new cases, bringing its total to 74.
Mendota had two new cases, which raised his total to 204.
The Chamber remained in the cases.
Utica remained in the cases.
Sheridan remained in 35 cases.
Oglesby remained in 34 cases.
Somonauk remained in 27 cases.
Earlville remained in 18 cases.
Seneca remained in 15 cases.
Grand Ridge remained in 14 cases.
Leland remained in 10 cases.
Peru had eliminated the previously transferred case from its count, which reduced its total to 53.
