La Salle County coronavirus update: 32 new cases, 88 released from isolation, 459 active cases

A 90-year-old County of La Salle died of COVID-19-like headaches, according to data shared Friday through the La Salle County Department of Health.

His death is the 29th COVID-19-related death in the county since the onset of the pandemic.

In addition, 32 new virus instances were shown on Friday, expanding the total number of instances shown to 912 since the start of the pandemic and raising the number of active instances to 459.

Three teenagers, one teenager, 3 men in the twenties, six women in their twenties, four men in their thirties, one woguy in their thirties, three men in quarantine, two women in the fifty, two women in the sixties and one man in their 60s came positive.

There were 88 other people in the past who tested positive for the virus who were released from isolation, bringing this total to 424 across the county. Two previous instances of the county count were also removed from instances shown, as they were found to be living outdoors in the county.

18620 tests were conducted among the citizens of La Salle County, of which 4.9% were tested for the virus.
