Eighteen new COVID-19s were shown in La Salle County on Monday, bringing the number of assets to 461.
A teenager, a teenager, two men in the twenties, three in the twenties, a woman in her thirties, a woman in the forty, three men in the fifty, three in the fifty, two in the sixty and a woman in the seventy tested positive for the virus.
Five other people in the past tested positive for COVID-19 have been spared isolation, bringing the total to three hundred since the start of the pandemic.
There have been 785 cases of coronavirus since the onset of the pandemic and 24 deaths from COVID-19-like headaches.
17,126 tests have been conducted among La Salle County residents since mid-March and 4.6% have returned for the virus.

Streator registered five instances shown, bringing the total to 117 instances in 3,051 tests.
Ottawa registered 3 instances shown, bringing the total to 119 instances of 4,038 tests.
Marseille has two instances shown, bringing its total to 60 instances of 1319 tests.
Peru had one more case, which raised its total to 47 cases of 1286 tests.

Oglesby remains in 33 out of 486 tests.
Sheridan remains in 33 of 473 tests.
Somonauk remains in 26 out of 630 tests.
Earlville remains in 18 out of 359 tests.
Seneca is kept in 15 out of 286 tests.
Grand Ridge remains in 14 of 177 tests.

• Utica remains at seven cases out of 194 tests.
No other zip code in La Salle County has reported more than five cases shown, according to IDPH.
County fitness officials are asking citizens to take precautions seriously and to take accumulation into account in cases where they plan to attend social events. The use of a mask and social estrangement are the most productive preventive measures that other people can take at this time, the authorities said.
