Kyrgyzstan resumes flights with Kazakhstan

Mr. BISHKek. KAZINFORM – Scheduled flights between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will resume from 20 September 2020 on the basis of agreements between the aviation authorities of the two countries, Kabar reports.

The Republican headquarters fighting COVID-19 said the Almaty-Bishkek-Almaty flight would be operated through Air Astana twice a week on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Kyrgyzstan has cancelled all domestic and foreign flights since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March and resumed domestic flights on June 5.

The country also resumed air with Turkey and the United Arab Emirates from 7 August and with Kuwait from 10 September.
