Dubai: Kuwait’s Ministry of Education (MoE) suspended six people for withholding the salaries of their teachers, The Daily Al Seyassah reported Monday.
The ministry initiated procedures to withdraw the license from one of the schools, while the other five paid the fees. Well-informed resources revealed that the price of one of those 200,000 KD promises
The owners of the five personal schools, threatened with legal action, temporarily paid their salaries to their teachers and pledged to repeat the crime again.
Upon learning of the incident, the Public Work Authority (WFP) investigated violations committed through these schools by failing to pay teachers’ salaries and took steps to close the records of those schools until wages were paid.
The ministry will investigate potential disruptions affecting personal school workers and propose answers before taking action, but at the same time will strain those who do not comply with existing legislation to be sanctioned.
The newspaper reported that there is a criterion for verifying the court cases of personal school workers, including filing a copy of the contract and a document proving that past wages were deposited into their bank accounts.
