Kuwait reports 590 new cases of COVID-19, 3 deaths

Cairo: Kuwait showed new cases of new coronavirus on Friday in the last 24 hours, with an increase of 38 cases of the number of infections reported the previous day, bringing the country’s overall infections to 102,441.

Three deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded, bringing the death toll from the disease in Kuwait to 595, Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.

There are 111 patients receiving intensive care, KUNA added, according to Kuwaiti news firm KUNA.

Kuwait’s total virus number reached 729,755 after 4,730 seconds in the last 24 hours.

The Health Ministry said overall recoveries in Kuwait had risen to 93,562 after 601 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the following 24 hours.
