Kuwait registers 682 new COVID-19s or 70727s

Cairo: Kuwait has recorded 682 new cases of new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, an accumulation of 62 cases since the subsequent days count, bringing the country’s general infections to 70727, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Friday.

The newest are 461 Kuwaitis and 221 foreign residents, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said.

Two new deaths were announced by COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 471.

There are 124 patients receiving intensive care, Dr. Al Sanad said.

The Ministry of Health also reported that 720 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 62,330.

Kuwait has recently eased virus-induced restrictions as a component of a plan to return to general life.

Last week, the Gulf country began cutting the curfew at night to six hours a day, while hotels and resorts were reopened. Fifty percent of the government and workers in the sonal sector were allowed to work.
