Cairo: Kuwait has shown 643 new coronaviruses in the more than 24 hours, bringing the country’s total number of infections to 77470, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported tuesday, with a fitness official.
All new instances that have been in contact with Americans in the past have fired up or are being investigated to locate sources of infection and identify those who were in contact, Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.
Three COVID-19 deaths were announced, bringing the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 505.
There are 101 patients receiving intensive care, Dr. Al Sanad said.
Kuwait’s general viral tests increased to 568,440 after 5,306 tests in more than 24 hours, the official added.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 610 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 69,243.
In weeks, Kuwait has eased restrictions on viruses.
