Kuwait’s Ministry of Health will seek assistance from doctors and nurses specializing in intensive care, anesthesia and lung diseases abroad “in the coming days,” said Al Jarida newspaper, which mentioned fitness sources.

The first group will be around 500 and nurses from Pakistan added resources. “They will arrive in the coming weeks after the completion of their recruitment procedures,” the resources said.

Pakistan is one of 32 countries whose flights Kuwait banned this month due to concerns.

Over the past 4 months, Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has hired doctors from Cuba and Jordan, according to the report.

On Sunday, Kuwait lifted a sanitary curfew imposed more than five months ago as a component of measures to involve COVID-19.
