Two more Polish players have been tested for covid-19, bringing the total to four, the Polish Football Association announced on Tuesday, on the eve of a 2022 World Cup qualifier against England.

“The Polish team has passed more coronavirus tests. Unfortunately, the effects were for Grzegorz Krychowiak and Kamil Piatkowski,” football spokesman Jakub Kwiatkowski said on Twitter.

Kwiatkowski, who said he tested positive himself, said Polish football reached an agreement with UEFA to ask for permission for Krychowiak to play given that he had already had coronavirus.
