Kazakhstan reports 233 new COVID-19 infections in 24 hours

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Another 233 people have tested positive for coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan in the past 24 hours.

Another 10 people have been diagnosed with COVID pneumonia, the Health Ministry’s Kazinform learned.

The day before, the number of COVID cases shown was 257.

Another 2668 people are now receiving treatment for coronavirus infection and COVID pneumonia. Of these, 350 receive hospital care and 2318 are at home.

The condition of 11 patients is estimated to be serious, six patients are in critical condition and two other patients are on life support.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Kazakhstan has recorded 1,401,711 cases of coronavirus. Another 90,510 people have been diagnosed with COVID pneumonia.
