Kazakhstan proposes to inscribe the Orteke dance on unesco’s Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM The Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with experts from the National Committee for Intangible Cultural Heritage, the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ICESCO, is executing the inscription of the Kazakh folk dance Orteke [red dark goat] on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The Kazakh folk dance Orteke has 3 versions: puppet and soloist, reports the Astana Opera on its website.
