TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM At today’s assembly in the Zhetysu region, the head of state said Kazakhstan has giant lithium reserves according to estimates ranging from 50 to 100,000 tons, reports the Telegram channel of the president’s press service.
The country’s geological service is pushing its activities in this direction because progression and exploration require significant investments.
The region has a smart business growth dynamic. Since the beginning of the year, 23 facilities have been put into operation. The president highlighted the modernization and commissioning of the Kazsilicon silicon production plant that has been idle for some years and the structure of the iron relief plant. Both plants are of great importance to Kazakhstan and are expected to expand and disseminate complex technologies in the mining industry.
It should be noted that the region has built an investment portfolio until 2026 composed of 162 projects. More than 7,000 jobs will be generated.
