NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – Kazakhstan remains cautious about restoring air communications with other countries amid worsening the scenario with coronavirus infection, Kazinform reports.
On Wednesday, Health Minister Alexei Tsoi presented a package of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus cases imported into Kazakhstan, and in the face of worsening scenario with coronavirus infection abroad, he proposed that the Kazakh government suspend the re-establishment of air communications. with other countries starting October 5.
At the government session, Minister Tsoi also recommended increasing the number of flights restored and restricting the number of flights to Turkey.
Passengers arriving from countries with which Kazakhstan has re-established air communication must undergo a temperature control, complete an investigation and have a negative PCR certificate (no more than 3 calendar days must elapse between the time of checking and the estimated time of arrival of the flight).
In case passengers have the certificate, they will be transferred remotely at a quarantine facility for up to 2 days for a COVID-19 test on site.
