Kazakhstan said on Wednesday it was discussing measures to combat the effect of restrictions on oil exports through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), which ships Kazakh crude through Russia to the Black Sea.
The CPC, which handles about 1% of the world’s oil, said Wednesday that a Russian court ordered it to suspend operations for 30 days, leading to oil spills.
