NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Thailand commemorate this week the 30th anniversary of the status quo of diplomatic relations, Kazinform quotes the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
In the popularity of this symbolic date, Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand exchanged congratulatory letters.
For 30 years, the two states have developed a mutual collaboration based on their non-unusual interests in the fields of security, trade, tourism, culture and education. Sister cities Nur-Sultan and Bangkok, Shymkent and Pattaya, have developed partnerships. Occasions have been arranged through state agencies, parliaments, business groups, scientific, educational and cultural centres.
Kazakhstan and Thailand also enjoy smart cooperation within the United Nations, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, the Asian Cooperation Dialogue and other foreign platforms. Representatives of the Kingdom participated in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. , supporting Kazakhstan’s projects to consolidate mutual respect and tolerance among the followers of religions.
Sharing geopolitical characteristics as herbal transit hubs in Asia, Kazakhstan and Thailand remain committed to further progress in bilateral cooperation.
