Kazakhstan and Andorra sign reciprocal visa waiver agreement

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileuberdi, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Maria Ubach, Kazinform.

“Bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Andorra are aimed at the progression of constructive and mutual cooperation. The most promising direction of cooperation is the tourism sector. To this end, the countries today signed an agreement on reciprocal exemption from the need for a visa for all passport holders, the first intergovernmental agreement between the two states,” the Kazakh minister said after the talks.

He recalled that the two countries are in foreign structures. Nations enjoy fruitful cooperation within the UN and OSCE. Interparliamentary relations between Kazakhstan and Andorra are emerging within the OSCE PA and PACE. He also expressed his gratitude for Kazakhstan’s candidacy to the UN Human Rights Council for 2022-2024.

In a conclusion, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan thanked Maria Ubach for the productive negotiations.
