At least 10 other people were injured in the blast at the Rameshwaram Café in Bangalore.
Tejasvi Surya, who represents the South Bengaluru constituency of Lok Sabha, questioned the intentions of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s government in relation to the incident.
“At first, they tried to tell the story of a cylinder exploding. Now they’re seeing the narrative of business rivalry. Why can’t the congressional government allow investigative agencies to do their job?Why anticipate? Why incentivize? Vote for the Bank’s limitations?CM Siddaramaiah will have to be given carte blanche to investigate and give transparent answers to the people of Bengaluru,” Tejasvi Surya posted on X.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, State Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara and DGP Alok Mohan also recorded the explosion in Bengaluru for inspection.
A team from the National Investigation Agency also filmed the explosion in the Whitefield area.
Earlier in the day, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had said that the defendants involved in Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram café would be discovered and punished, adding that opposition parties refrained from getting involved in politics in the wake of the incident.
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said: “CCTV footage of the café is being reviewed. We found out that a bag had been left in the café. The defendant in the incident will be punished.
Stating that “there have also been multiple explosions in previous governments”, the Chief Minister said: “This incident happened in our government. Disciplinary and strict measures will be taken against those involved. We don’t want to play politics here. “
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party leader PC Mohan had expressed fears over the explosion that took place at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram café and suggested the leadership investigate the incident.
In a post on X, BJP MP Lok Sabha for Central Bengaluru, PC Mohan, said: “Disturbed to hear about the mysterious explosion at the Rameshwaram Café in Bengaluru’s central MP district. My mind is with those affected and their families. Investigate and protect all citizens. Stay safe, Bengaluru.
A security guard who was at the Rameshwaram cafeteria and was there at the time of the incident said: “I am in front of the cafeteria. Many visitors had come to the hotel. Suddenly, a loud noise was heard and a fireplace was lit, injuring several people. . internal visitors of the hotel.
