MANILA, Philippines – The total number of COVID-19 instances shown in the country has increased to 69,898, two weeks before the end of July.
The number of active instances of COVID-19 or patients still being treated has also increased to 43,991, doH said.
The most recent forecasts from the COVID-19 team at the University of the Philippines showed that the country may have 85,000 cases, adding 2,000 deaths through the end of July, based on the existing R-nul or the amount of breeding inventory in the country.
“For the maximum recent week, there are an average of 2,000 instances consistent with the day in the Philippines, an increase of 50% of the soul over the past week,” reads in an excerpt from the study.
