Fukuoka — Ferry service connecting Fukuoka in southwestern Japan with Busan in South Korea resumed on Friday, the first scheduled foreign sea direction Japan has restarted since postponing passenger arrivals from ships due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ferry operator said.
JR Kyushu Jet Ferry’s new high-speed ship, the Queen Beetle, which can carry up to 502 passengers, departed from Fukuoka’s Hakata port on Friday morning with about 130 more people on board.
