To be sure, Beijing hopes that its oppression of Hong Kong will intimidate the Taiwanese. The Communist Party of China would like nothing more than to make Taipei so afraid that it will yield to all of Beijing’s demands.
A relaxed and independent village, the Taiwanese will not drive so smoothly. Beijing will have to be informed that there are limits to the intimidation that the lazy global will tolerate. According to Taiwan, the United States sends this message. By strengthening U.S.-Taiwan relations, the United States is helping to lessen the chances of intimidation in the operation of Beijing.
It’s time to take advantage of management’s initiative. As soon as possible, it announces its goal of concluding a flexible industrial agreement with Taiwan.
