Italy bans access to thirteen countries due to coronavirus fears: living

Tokyo recorded 224 new cases of coronavirus infection thursday, for public broadcaster NHK, surpassing the previous record of 206 infections in the Japanese capital on April 17.

Japan has a total of 20,261 cases and 982 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University account.

Confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nigeria have exceeded 30,000, news firm Reuters reported, presenting the country’s disease center, as the virus spreads in Africa’s most populous country amid restrictions to alleviate the disease.

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC), in its update published on its website, said there were 460 new instances, bringing the total number of registered instances to 30,249. NCDC said this had led to 684 deaths.

The country of 200 million people, like many other African countries, has so far moved away from the highest mortality rates in the United States, Brazil and parts of Europe.
