Ilana Seid is Palau’s first ambassador to the State of Israel

Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday won the credentials of the new ambassadors of Moldova, Ghana, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, Mongolia and, for the first time, Palau, in a series of official ceremonies at the president’s home in Jerusalem.

The new ambassadors were revered by the Israeli army band performing the national anthems of the ambassadors’ countries. After the ceremony, the ambassadors presented their credentials to Herzog.

Herzog held an audience with each of the ambassadors, after which each of the ambassadors signed the guestbook. At the end of each of the ceremonies, the Israeli national anthem was played.

Herzog congratulated him on his promotion to Moldovan chargé d’affaires in Israel and that Israel and Moldova marked thirty years of diplomatic relations.
