Israel is the most promising country for “cloud entrepreneurs,” according to U. S. consultancy Sage Intacct.
While the U. S. The U. S. has the number of startups providing some form of cloud computing services, with 2,065 corporations according to Sage studies (859 open in the last five years), and the UK comes in right now with 262 cloud computing corporations (120 open since 2017), “the long term can be very different. while other nations are climbing the ladder,” Sage reports.
Some 76 new cloud computing companies have opened in Israel over the past half-decade. This equates to 8. 4 startups out of one million people, the consistent percentage of any country surveyed by Sage. The United States, with a much larger population, has only 2. 5 startups consistent with millions of people.
After Israel, the next 3 countries with the ratio of cloud startups to population are Estonia (7. 5 startups consisting of one million inhabitants), Luxembourg (6. 2 startups consisting of one million) and Singapore (5. 5 startups consisting of one million).
Sage’s report highlights Israeli cloud security provider Wiz, which backs leading brands such as Costco, Slack, BMW and ASOS.
Sage claims that more than $2 billion has been invested in Israel-based cloud startups since 2017. Israel is the seventh largest in the world by the total number of cloud corporations in operation.
