Israel in talks with Russia on Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine, says minister

JERUSALEM – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday declared the acquisition of the Russian Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine.

“An hour ago, I spoke to Russian President Vladmir Putin about buying an option on the Sputnik-V vaccine,” Netanyahu told reporters. “We’ll talk about it in the next few days. ” (Reporting through Ari Rabinovitch edited through David Goodman)
