Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu called American rapper Kanye West’s anti-Semitic comments “nonsense” when asked if Israel would respond to the questionable outbursts.
The former minister made an appearance Friday night on HBO’s “Real Time” screen by American specialist Bill Maher.
Maher asked Netanyahu if Israel would take action against the West, which has faced a wave of complaints after a series of recent anti-Semitic statements, noting its goal of passing “to death [sic] 3 opposed to the Jewish people. “
“We deal with bigger things than this nonsense,” Netanyahu said amusedly. “But, you know, communists blame Jews for being capitalists, capitalists blame Jews for being communists. “

In his interview with Netanyahu, Maher cited comments made over the years by unnamed U. S. lawmakers accusing Israel of abusing Palestinians.
