Recent technological advances catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the expansion of telecommunications infrastructure, adding projects such as Starlink, have reduced some of the distance between communities that need medical services. Telemedicine gives others with limited physical access to fitness professionals the opportunity to take advantage of their expertise. However, the scope of what can be completed with a video call is limited. Accurate diagnoses are difficult. Healthcare professionals rely heavily on patient data or, in the most productive case, less qualified colleagues who follow commands remotely.
