VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 7, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Irving Resources Inc. (CSE: IRV; OTCQX: IRVRF) (“Irving” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the two diamond drilling wells ended up at the Omui mine site, a component of its one hundred percent controlled Omu Au-Ag vein project in Hokkaido, Japan, has found high-grade veins.
Summary of diamond drilling carried out at the Omui mine site:
Prominent vein intersections of the two completed wells at the Omui mine site in winter 2022 include:
7. 39 gpt Au and 10. 07 gpt Ag (7. 52 gpt Au eq) over 8. 58 m in 4. 44 gpt Au and 14. 97 gpt Ag (4. 63 gpt Au eq) over 15. 25 m, and a period of 7. 55 gpt Au and 155. 00 gpt Ag (9. 49 gpt Au eq) ) more than 0. 79 m in gap 22OMI-001
9. 60 gpt Au and 63. 30 gpt Ag (10. 39 gpt Au eq) over 0. 71 m, a moment intersection of 13. 75 gpt Au and 23. 13 gpt Ag (14. 04 gpt Au eq) over 1. 07 m, and a third intersection of 12. 50 gpt Au and 8. 34 gpt Ag (12. 60 gpt Au eq) over 1. 00 m in gap 22OMI-002
The veins found in wells 22OMI-001 and 22OMI-002 are thought to belong to the same network of high-grade veins found in this through wells completed before COVID-19 in the current part of 2019 (Figure 1).
The veins found in the upper component of hole 22OMI-002 recommend that the mineralized vein formula in Honpi be connected with that of Nanko about 450 m to the south, which would be a very promising result.
Given the angles at which the veins were intercepted in the two wells, the Company estimates that the vein widths correspond to approximately 70 to 80% of the interception widths of the wells.
These two holes were drilled south of the Honpi design and north, effectively finding veins in the decreasing spur, or inverted block, of this east-west fault. Neither of those two holes reached the block of the north wall where an underground sintering formula was located. found last year’s drilling.
A third gap that was planned to overhaul the hanging wall block was not completed due to a device failure in March followed by a surge of COVID-19 that ravaged groups at the site during the final game of March and early April. The strength target of the hanging wall under the buried swarm mound remains uncontrolled. Irving plans to drill this target when drilling resumes.
Irving was recently informed that his newly acquired Zinex A-5 drill arrived at the port of Hokkaido. This rig will soon be transported to Omu, where it will be used for follow-up drilling at Omui and other targets of this project. Stated in a recent press release, the Company has to acquire its own drilling rigs and expand an in-house team of drillers and helpers so that drilling can proceed smoothly in the future.
Drilling recently resumed at the Hokuryu mine site, where hole 21HKR-001 is lately deepening. This gap had to be finished due to bad weather in November 2021. Vein mineralization was found near the rear of this hole, so Irving decided to continue drilling. to fully verify the CSAMT resistive target in this area.
“The two wells completed at Omui in the winter of 2022 resulted in significant interceptions of high-grade veins,” said Quinton Hennigh, Irving’s director and technical advisor. “The first of the two veins found in well 22OMI-001 found interception of 7. 52 gpt au eq over an estimated genuine width of approximately six meters. The high-grade veins found in the upper component of gap 22OMI-002 are in a domain between Honpi and Nanko, suggesting that those two vein systems are about 0. 5 km apart. it may turn out to be connected, which would be a very encouraging discovery. Although we have not been able to verify the hanging wall feeding zone target in this drilling program, we plan to verify this domain soon with our new drill that has just arrived in Japan. We are very pleased to continue our exploration crusade in Omui with our new in-house drilling rig,” commented Dr. Hennigh.

Au eq = Au (Ag/80); Ag eq = Ag (Au x 80); the recovery of Au and Ag should be 95% as a casting flow
At present, Irving has doubts about the true widths of those vein intersections. More drilling is needed to get accurate orientations.
“We are also very pleased to see high-grade Au-Ag intersections in our first diamond drilling hole at Hokuryu, a mine that closed in 1943 during World War II. This is the first drill hole tested at Hokuryu in many decades. Although it was temporarily stopped before fully testing our goal in 2021, those two vein intersections verify that expansion of Hokuryu’s vein formula is possible. We look forward to completing this gap and the rest of Hokuryu’s drilling program in the coming months. We are also very encouraged by what we are seeing in the first Omui drilling hole of 2022 and look to the future to drill more in this vital target. “
All samples discussed in this press release are 1/2 sawn diamond cores. Irving sent samples to ALS Global, Vancouver, Canada, for analysis. Au and Ag were analyzed by pyrognostic verification with AA finish. Samples that exceeded the limit were analyzed by pyroanalysis with gravimetric finish. The phase elements were analyzed through mass spectrometry after 4 acid digestions. Irving inserts popular, blank samples into verification batches sent to the lab. Company personnel are guilty of geological recording and core sampling. Au (gpt) to Ag (gpt)/78.
