Iraq has called for Iran’s security to be threatened from its soil.

He made the remarks at a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani on Tuesday night.

Expressing satisfaction with the status quo of the new Iraqi government, Mokhber said that helping the Iraqi government and moving the Iraqi country forward is one of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s main methods, as President Raeisi emphasized.

He described the friendly ties between Tehran and Baghdad as “sincere and solid” and added that it is mandatory for economic relations between the two countries to progress and stabilize relations between Iran and Iraq.

In this regard, the two countries strengthen their industrial relations through the expansion of joint cooperation in various sectors, Mokhber stressed.

He also discussed the lifestyles of many cooperation spaces between Iran and Iraq and the strengthening of banking cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad “as a prerequisite for the progression of economic relations and the expansion of cooperation in the energy sector. “

He then called for the removal of banking and industrial barriers between the two countries.

Mokhber placed special emphasis on the need to diligently pursue the martyrdom of former commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Lieutenant General Soleimani, and thanked the rest of the people and the Iraqi government for receiving and welcoming Iranian pilgrims to Arba’een rituals.

The Iraqi prime minister, for his part, assessed Tehran in the context of strengthening vital and strategic relations between the two countries and expressed hope that bilateral meetings and negotiations will lead to the realization of clients for cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad as well. as the operability of the agreements signed between both countries.

Al-Sudani stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in other sectors of energy, industry and agriculture, calling for the creation of joint trade cities on the borders of the two countries and the use of Iran’s trade reports and achievements.
