Mohammad Eslami made the remarks while speaking to reporters after Wednesday’s cabinet meeting.
“Iran and the Agency have a robust and uninterrupted interaction. Our relationship with the company is based on the March statement with [IAEA leader Rafael] Grossi, founded on safeguards and the NPT,” Eslami added. Earlier on May 30, the AEOI announced that in recent technical negotiations between the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the case of one of the sites that had been raised through the IAEA (the alleged Abadeh site) was resolved. As such, the current registry of sites reported by the company was closed.
