On the night of Sunday, August 10, the official online page of the People’s Mujahideen Organization of Iran (WIPO/MEK) attacked relentlessly through the cyber army of the clerical regime from 22:50 CEST. These ferocious attacks that continue to date have been repelled and the mullahs’ desperate cyber attempt to disrupt users’ access to the Mojahedin-e Khalq online page has failed.
The administrative regime cyberattack is carried out with lots of IP addresses and servers to launch a DDoS attack aimed at the ONLINE page THE MEK. In these attacks, with large and synthetic references, the cybernetic army of the IRGC’s Ministry of Intelligence and Clerical Regime attempted to overwhelm the servers of the MEK’s online page and make it inaccessible to users. An attempt was repelled through the server firewalls and there was no challenge to access the site.
Previously, on July 18, with the World Summit for Free Iran and its live broadcast on WIPO’s online page, the site was attacked 3 times during the summit, using the same DDoS attack through the clerical regime’s computer system. Thursday and Friday 23rd and 24th July 2020, at 20:30 h. 8:40 p.m. CEST, respectively, the WIPO online page was attacked again through the regime’s cyber army.
The ongoing cyberattacks on WIPO’s online page obviously show the mullahs’ concern to have an effect on news, reports and data on the activities of WIPO supporters and resistance groups in Iran, national protests and strikes and, more importantly, activities. . and the messages of the leaders of the resistance, which have undeniably an impact on the mobilization of the Iranian people, especially the young, in their efforts to overthrow the regime.
