Last month’s reports indicated that Iran had taken steps to increase uranium enrichment in Natanz. A document from the International Atomic Energy Agency cited through the news firm Bloomberg said that complex new centrifuges were being moved from a pilot facility to a new domain of the nuclear facility.
The resolution appears to violate iran’s 2015 nuclear deal with global powers and would possibly show that the plant’s alleged sabotage has not particularly delayed Iran’s nuclear program, and warned that the damage to Natanz is not as severe as thought.
As a component of the nuclear agreement, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Iran pledged to restrict its nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.
But JCPOA has been receiving assistance since the United States withdrew and again imposed unilateral sanctions in 2018.
Since then, Iran has taken modest but slow steps away from the agreement, while driving relief from promised sanctions. Some of these measures are believed to have been taken at the Natanz nuclear site.

The IAEA states that Iran enriches uranium to approximately 4. 5% purity, above the terms of the nuclear deal but with army quality ratings of 90%. Workers also conducted tests on complex centrifuges, according to the IAEA.
