Tehran, Iran – Iran opened the new school year on Saturday after nearly seven months of closure.
In a video conference, President Hassan Rohani said the schooling of 15 million schoolchildren is as vital as the fitness system.
“Education will not be closed in our country even in the worst situations,” he said, urging the government to put into effect fitness measures in schools close to those of the army garrisons.
The reopening of schools came amid considerations about a imaginable accumulation of infections, adding fitness professionals.
