Iran’s Kolivand and Iraq’s Ahmed Abbas held on the sidelines of National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
The meeting discussed the structure of a hospital through the Iraqi Red Crescent Society in Baghdad, as well as the provision of specialized personnel, dentists and surgeons through the Iranian Red Crescent.
In December 2022, Kolivand, an assembly with the head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Force (Hashd al-Shaabi), Falih al-Fayyadh, said that Iran and Iraq deserve to strengthen their relations in the framework of fitness diplomacy.
The synergy will have to be greater between Iran and Iraq so that all hospital facilities under construction are introduced as soon as possible, Kolivand noted.
The two countries have the ability to cooperate more in the sphere of international relations of fitness for the Iranian and Iraqi nations to get closer in all fields, he added.
