In statements to the ANI, resources showed that a senior member of BCCI Medical tested positive.
“That’s true, but there’s no challenge because he (the leading medical officer) is asymptomatic and isolated.He was not in contact with anyone and could have hired him on his holiday to the United Arab Emirates.It’s being monitored and we hope everything’s okay in the next test run.We also have two other people in the NCA who tested positive and isolated themselves,” the resources said.
On August 29, the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) showed that thirteen staff members, adding two players, had tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the committee did not specify which team had the number of cases shown, the identity of the players and neither has been revealed.
“13 members tested positive, 2 of whom are players. All those affected and their close contacts are asymptomatic and have been removed from other team members.They are monitored through the IPL medical team,” BCCI said in an official statement.
On September 1, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan demonstrated that there were no new coronavirus cases in the contingent and that those who tested positive in the past will not be re-examined until after the end of their 14-day quarantine period.

IPL 2020 is scheduled to take position from September 19 to November 10 in the United Arab Emirates at 3 sites: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
The final adjustment of the 2020 edition is scheduled to be played on a working day, i.e. Tuesday, for the first time in the history of the T20 tournament.
