(PRESS RELEASE) MUNICH, April 5, 2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) has announced XENSIV™ Sensor Shield for Arduino, a flexible tool designed to compare smart home smart sensor systems and client programs. This state-of-the-art shield incorporates a wide variety of sensors from Infineon’s portfolio, as well as Sensirion’s SHT35 humidity and temperature sensor that streamlines its functions and complements the design adventure for Infineon’s customers. This shield allows design engineers to compare, prototype, and scale up sensor-based sensors. programs faster by leveraging the full merit of Infineon’s microcontrollers, wireless connectivity, and security chips. As a result, it provides an exceptional platform to accelerate innovation in sensor-driven solutions.

“We are very much looking forward to partnering with Sensirion,” said Philipp von Schierstädt, Executive Vice President

The XENSIV Sensor Shield for Arduino enables seamless hardware interoperability between MCUs and Infineon sensors as a fully incorporated progression platform. The sensors in the demo come with the XENSIV 60 GHz radar, CO2 PAS, pressure, PDM microphones, IMU accelerometer, and Sensirion SHT35 humidity and temperature. sensor. The shield integrates seamlessly with Infineon’s microcontroller kits and provides convenient access via an Arduino Uno connector. As part of Infineon’s ongoing commitment to offering complete formula solutions, the shield is designed and optimized in components to work with specific MCUs in Infineon’s lineup, such as PSoC™ 6, AIROC™ Bluetooth® SoC, and Wi-Fi® MCUs.

To further accelerate time-to-market and enhance the visitor experience while running within the Infineon ecosystem, XENSIV Sensor Shield for Arduino is fully compatible with Infineon’s ModusToolbox™ software progression platform for simplified software integration. ModusToolbox provides a complete progression environment: a unified platform with all the equipment and resources needed to expand integrated systems. Included configuration and code generation wizards automate repetitive responsibilities and simplify complex configurations. The ModusToolbox progression ecosystem is designed to evolve with mapping needs and adapt to conversion needs, offering expanders with the must-have libraries and pattern code needed to prototype a variety of applications.

Designers can also take advantage of XENSIV Sensor Shield for Arduino sensors in device learning use cases, Infineon microcontrollers, ModusToolbox, and Imagimob Machine Learning, as well as Infineon’s extensive sensor features and Sensirion’s temperature and humidity sensor.

Availability

The new XENSIV sensor shield for Arduino will be available in the third quarter of 2024. Infineon will provide the shield at Embedded World in Nuremberg.
