Indonesian researchers practically complete clinical trials of COVID-19 herbal drugs

YAKARTA – A study team at a COVID-19 transitional hospital at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran in central Jakarta reportedly recruited its topic 90 and last for their clinical trials of new herbal medicines for COVID-19 patients. Seventy-two of them have finished the tests so far.

Both drugs are said to be “immunomodulatory drugs” that stimulate or suppress parts of the immune system, adding innate and adaptive immune responses. Drugs are vaccines and update compliance with the appropriate COVID-19 fitness protocol.

“We are asking for an audience so that we can make a significant contribution to the reaction to COVID-19 in Indonesia.”

The two drugs tested are Cordyceps militaris and a product made from ginger, herbs, green chiretta and Ngai camphor.

Cordyceps militaris is a fungus discovered in the Himalayas and Tibet, but effectively cultivated and produced in Indonesia. The fungus is widely used in medicinal plants in China, South Korea and Tibet.
