The total number of active COVID-19 cases in India dropped to 47,379, according to data from the Ministry of Health today. Yesterday, active cases were recorded at approximately 48,027.
A minimum of 648 cases recorded in the number of active COVID-19 cases in 24 hours. Active cases account for 0. 11 percent of total infections, the ministry said. The total number of deaths in the country now stands at 528,370. the first death from the COVID pandemic reported in March 2020.
The daily positivity rate on Sept. 20 was recorded at 1. 96%.
India’s COVID-19 count had crossed the 20 lakh mark on 7 August 2020, Rs 30 lakh on 23 August, Rs 40 lakh on 5 September and Rs 50 lakh on 16 September. It exceeded 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on October. 11, crossed 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 november and surpassed the crore mark on 19 December.
