Incredible and in Egypt as 2500-year-old sealed coffins from the government

Thirteen coffins have been discovered in Egypt that remained sealed for more than two millennia.

The coffins were found in the ancient site of Saqqara, a desert necropolis south of Cairo.

According to the country’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the coffins were discovered in a burial well 11 meters underground, stacked on top of another.

Besides the amazing fact that they have been sealed all this time, some of them are so well preserved that some of the colors painted on the wood are still visible.

Authorities would possibly also be hiding in the historic site, other unidentified remains.

“The identity and positions of the owners of those coffins or their total number have been identified, but those questions will be answered in the coming days through further excavation,” the ministry said in a Facebook post.

Many tombs and burial sites have been looted or looted since the time of the pharaohs, so locating intact treasures like this is a discovery.

Saqqara is believed to have served as a necropolis of the city of Memphis, once the capital of ancient Egypt.

The ancient Egyptians buried the dead there for more than 3,000 years, making it a place of wonderful archaeological importance.

While wealthy Americans have been buried surrounded by jewels and treasures, archaeologists have recently discovered much easier burials. They were probably middle-class, hard-working people.

Let’s hope this notice is just the first of many interesting notices as researchers continue to notice more.
