GOP CANDIDATE MARJORIE GREENE FACES A GAME IN THE IMAGE OF HERSELF HOLDING A WEAPON THROUGHOUT THE TEAM
“Time and time again, Donald Trump has minimized the risk of COVID-19, knowing how harmful it is,” Omar tweeted. “Nearly 200,000 more people have paid the value of their lies in their lives. If he refuses to resign, we will. “
Omar referred to a Tweet from Trump in March in which the president noted that the unusual flu had killed more people than the coronavirus and warned the economy to continue.
“So last year, 37,000 Americans died from the unusual flu,” Trump tweeted. “Averages between 27,000 and 70,000 a year. Nothing stops, life and the economy continue. At this time, there are 546 cases shown of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about it!”
REACHING OUT TO REPORTERS, DEFENDING THE COVIDÉE THREAT DURING WOODWARD’S BOOK UPROAR
This week, passages from Woodward’s upcoming e-book were published, in which it appears trump had spoken seriously about the virus in his recorded interviews with the Washington Post reporter.
“Just breathe the air and that’s how it happened,” Trump said in a February 7 call with Woodard. “And it’s a very delicate question. It’s a very delicate subject. It’s also more fatal than even its fatigued flu. “”
“These are fatal things, ” repeated the president in the interview.
CORONAVIRUS IN THE UNITED STATES: STATE-BY-STATE DISTRIBUTION
Trump said Thursday that he didn’t need to scare the country.
“I must show a point of trust and strength as a leader,” Trump told reporters Thursday. “There have been no lies here, what we’re doing here is leading and we’re leading the right way. “
“I don’t need to jump and scream” dead, dead, ” he added. ” I have to rule a country. “
Omar first called on Trump to resign in November 2019 into the House’s political trial investigation into Trump’s efforts to interfere with Ukraine in the presidential election by opening investigations into Joe and Hunter Biden. The Senate voted to absolve Trump of the two articles of the impe trial in February.
“The president of the United States has damaged our legislation and betrayed our country,” Omar tweeted in November. “You’ll have to quit. “
Trump continually ridiculed Omar and asked for his resignation in March 2019 for comments he made that were described as anti-Semitic. Omar apologized for his tweets at the time he warned that Israel’s politicians were motivated by money.

“Anti-Semitism has no position in the U. S. Congress,” Trump said at the time.
“I think he resigns from Congress or resigns from the Foreign Relations Committee. “
Omar replied that she had learned from her words and from Trump to do the same.
“You’ve been dealing hate your whole life, unlike Jews, Muslims, Native Americans, immigrants, blacks and more,” Omar said. “I learned from other people affected by my words. When will you do it?”
