The rules of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare require foreign passengers arriving in India with a negative RT-PCR certificate to be exempt from institutional quarantine across states and will be allowed to travel by air.
The government, in a statement issued in August, required incoming travelers to apply for an institutional quarantine exemption if they have a negative report of an RT-PCR verification conducted within 96 hours of travel.
The director of the genestring diagnostic center, Rajat Arora, said the facility would ensure that incoming passengers who simply do not establish a report on their Prestige Covid can download it at the first airport once they arrive in India.
