PHOENIX – U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officialsThe U. S. was transferred to the custody of the Honduran law enforcement government with a remarkable court order.
José Elías Jovel-Castro, 38, is a citizen of Honduras who has violated national immigration laws. Jovel-Castro has a long history of criminals that includes convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol, domestic assault and several federal convictions, dating back to 2007, similar to counterfeiting and illegal reemployment.
On 31 July 2019, Honduran police forces in La Ceiba, Atlunida, Honduras issued an arrest warrant against Jovel-Castro for an alleged homicide.
File checks revealed that Jovel-Castro was recently arrested through ORE in Phoenix on June 30, following a federal ruling on a felony reinstatement conviction. As a foreign deported delinquent in the past, his earlier expulsion order was restored, paving the way for his fourth expulsion.
ICE focuses on getting rid of public safety threats, such as criminal aliens and convicted gang members, as well as Americans who have violated our country’s immigration laws, adding those who returned illegally after being deported and immigration fugitives ordained through federal immigration.
