Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reports a decrease in novel COVID-19 in its latest update.
According to its COVID-19 dashboard, public fitness reported new high-risk cases of COVID-19 in the region. That’s down from the 201 reported last week.
Known high-risk active instances have also decreased. There are 211 known active instances of high-risk COVID-19, at 257.
No new deaths similar to COVID-19 are reported.
Despite this, hospitalizations for COVID-19 have increased. Forty-three more people are hospitalized with COVID-19. That’s more than 35 last week.
Three other people are lately in intensive care.
