Before Covid-19, we were the ones we liked to pack the light on a plane. Or one. Landing in a new city. Choose the menu plate that we least know about. Rejoice in a deep verbal exchange with a stranger in a bar where we’ve never been before.
And we’re over a billion of us. 1.4, to be exact: 1.4 billion foreign travellers in 2018. To put this in perspective, in 1950, only 25 million people traveled abroad. American explorers have exploded around the world in recent decades.
So what does a browser do when the global is locked?
I built a trick to travel the global Covid-19.
A one-of-a-kind verbal exchange platform, where explorers can connect with partners around the world for short 15-minute video verbal exchanges. No chats: All verbal exchanges start with a big consultation that you should make in advance.
I had to replace the idea of the trip.
I used to think, travel was about going places.
But then I learned that you can do it seamlessly through a verbal exchange with someone who lives in some other component of the world.
You can do it through your stories, your experiences, your joy, your sorrows.
You can experience their world through their words.
In many ways, this adventure is as powerful, if not more, than physically traveling the world. Because it’s available to everyone. No vacation budget required. Just present yourself in an original way, in a percentage position of your story and immerse yourself in a verbal exchange that counts on some other human.

These are some of my fellow explorers.
“I met a doctor at the ICU in New York who had started to develop symptoms 3 days earlier and had been removed from rotation. She was exhausted, alone and afraid of infecting her boyfriend. She came forward to kill the virus and returning to her is inspiring, blunt and strong in a way that a New York Times article about her could not be. She shared with me a window on the front line, and I’m grateful to him.
I met a high-performance technique that was battling the demons of the years of formation over the framed image and absolutely illogical fears that she would be more in her career than she was. She encouraged me with her courage and vulnerability.
I met a guy who had just been laid off, another indirect victim of Covid. He felt he could stay afloat for 6 months+, but wasn’t sure after that. He told me about how his parents had always been careless with money, and thankfully, that made him super careful. I met him 3 hours after he had gotten the call from HR. It was raw, human, authentic, and a high definition window into a painful moment that millions of people are going through.
I met a Brazilian yoga instructor who lived in New York. He told me about his radical and devoted upbringing and the fact that he was not allowed to dress until he was 21. He told me about his contact with God in the Dominican Republic when he miraculously was saved from a harmful situation. Array – LC
“For 30 minutes, my quarantine walls were torn down, I had three convouts in the Philippines, Los Angeles and Chicago.” – DM
“I was surprised to chat with someone in Bangladesh! But we had a verbal exchange about American politics, which he started talking about first. I had an exclusive vision and attitude of it and anticipate talking to a new user soon! Ks
“What I am still informed and that surprises me is that we come from other cultures and backgrounds and yet we are all the same, we have many unusual things and we need the same for the world.” – JF
“Meeting people so varied, with varied backgrounds and ideas, encouraged and broadened my attitude on the issues we talked about. At the same time, it was exciting to feel the unity: that you’re not just thinking about the specific things that are vital to you. – HB
“I literally enjoyed being able to communicate with some other people who were scattered all over the country/world. Much of the discussion came back here to how we all dealt with the existing pandemic, and it was great to be able to get out of my same usual social circles to listen from other points of view. I think the network has the possibility to remind other people that we are literally a global community, even if we may be socially remote right now. “-THE
In the words of e.e. cummings: “Listen: there is a hellish universe next to it; Let’s do it.
