MANILA, Philippines – Cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the House of Representatives have now reached 49 after two other workers tested positive for the virus, Secretary General José Luis Montales reported Thursday.
Both workers are asymptomatic and quarantined at home, Montales said.
“It is NOT physically exhibited for paintings when you have experienced or experienced any of the symptoms of COVID-19 in more than 14 days.In case of doubt, the symptom of COVID 19 is COVID-19,” said the Secretary-General of the House..
Montales said appropriate sanctions will be imposed for violations of House’s physical fitness and protection protocols.
As of August 20, there were 178,022 COVID-19s in the country, with recoveries in 114,114 and the death toll in 2883.
