Frans Cronje, former executive director of the South African Institute of Race Relations, said the history of the South African government is “incredibly corrupt” after the International Court of Justice ruled against Israel.
South Africa has filed a complaint with the ICJ accusing Israel of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
“The history of South Africa is incredibly corrupt,” Cronje told Sky News presenter Rowan Dean.
“For more than 25 years, he has not hesitated to receive money from corrupt regimes and then offer them diplomacy in the global forum.
“This goes back to the Suharto regime in Indonesia, where the ruling party in South Africa allegedly took $50 million; they did the same, the corrupt regime of Abacha, which is surely brutal, corrupt, autocratic and bloodthirsty. “
